Luke Abbott - Without Aim

On resort un classique avec ce magnifique Luke Abbott. Notre label anglais préféré avait tapé fort avec l'ep Tuesday de ce - à première vue - geek. La touche Border est très présente, on sent bien l'influence My Bloody Valentine à travers cette nappe martelé au trémolo et à la disto; tout ça sur un beat presque militaire. Ayant eu la chance de le voir en live en Mars dernier, je ne peux que vous recommander le Tuesday EP et Whitebox Stereo.

We are are bringing back a classic with this fabulous Luke Abbot. Our favorite british label has hit us hard with the ep "Tuesday" produced by what we consider, at first view, a geek. The Border Community touch is fully present, we definitely feel the influences from My Bloody Valentine throughout these smooth layers of tremolo and distortion; all this on a beat that we could almost consider to be military. Being the lucky fellow that I am to see him last March, I can only recommand the Tuesday EP and Whitebox Stereo

On va essayer d'eviter les poncifs, on espère juste que vous apprecierez ce blog. Nous parlerons de sujets divers et variés, mais principalement de la musique.

Pour bien commencer, on vous balance une bombe de Move D (droite) & Benjamin Brunn (gauche) sorti chez Smallville.

C'est là une perle deep que nous offrent les deux allemands, le genre de son qui te redonne fois en la musique éléctronique. Dix minutes de nappes feutrées sur un beat qui ne paie pas de mine, mais d'une éfficacité à toutes épreuves. Le label d'Hambourg est encore une fois à la hauteur de nos attentes.

To start things well, we're throwing at you a musical bomb from Move D & Benjamin Brunn out from the label Smallville.

Here is a deep pearl that we unwrapp from Move D (right) & Brunn (left), the kind of sound that regives faith in electronic music. Ten minutes of resonant chords on a beat that does not lose its catch, however surpassing its production beyond all thresholds. The Hamburg-based label has once again reached the highest of our expectations.
